Walter Schlaepfer and his family established the Schlaepfer Family Foundation in 2020. The Schlaepfer Family Foundation supports organizations across greater Seattle that share Schlaepfer’s values. Among the Foundation’s grantees are Behind the Badge, Kineta, Inc., Washington Policy Center, Overlake Medical Center & Clinics, and the Bellevue Police Foundation. The Foundation is based on the guiding principles of free enterprise, individual liberty and commitment to self-improvement.
